RIP Maggie  Nov 09 - June 10
Sadly Missed but Not Forgotten

Last week we had some sad news about Maggie from her owners.  Maggie had a very special place in our hearts as, when she was a week old pup, we had to bottle feed her every 2 to 3 hours.  When she cried, her Mum, Misty would come and let us know it was time to warm up the bottle. Her nick name here as a tiny pup was Squeaker.  With the help of the bottle she soon caught up with her litter mates.  Maggie went to a fantastic home at eight weeks with the Herlighy family, where she was loved and treated like the little princess that she was.  Unfortunately, three weeks ago Maggie got sick with a bowel infection, and even after surgery she bounced right back to her lively self. Last week she got a bowel infection again, only this time the vet could'nt save her.

We would like to say a thank you to the Herlighy family for giving Maggie such a loving home, and making her short little life so much fun.

Here's was the Herlighy's had to say about Maggie:-
Maggie was magnificent. We enjoyed her so much.Everybody loved her winning
ways. All were greeted with showers of kisses ( licks ) , followed by a
roll-over so that we might tickle her belly for her.
What a princess !

She was so mischevious too. As long as we're still wearing socks that are
peppered with little teeth holes she will be lovingly thought of.

"Odie" (Glenamairgie Gorman)

Our first Border and who was responsible for introducing us to to the breed, sadly died yesterday, in a road accident, where he lived with our friends Danny and Ruth.
Odie was a pleasure to live with and was known for his lovable and quirky personality. Much loved and sadly missed.
RIP "Odie

We are delighted to have received the news that "Tythrop Theo" is Border Terrier Annual Champion 2009.

Theo gained his Irish Champion title and this title during his first six months in the ring.

Theo is in top form and condition this year and will hopefully have continued success.

Many thanks to the Judge's who thought so much of him during June-December 09.
